You Deserve Support
Maybe you've been holding everything together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed on the inside.
Perhaps past experiences are affecting how you feel today. You may be navigating a loss, feeling disconnected in your relationships, or struggling to move forward after something difficult.
You might recognize yourself in some of these experiences:
You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Counselling can provide a supportive space to explore what you're experiencing, better understand yourself and begin making meaningful changes at your own pace.
I feel deeply grateful to hold space for the courageous people I have the privilege of supporting. It is an honour to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, build on their strengths and move toward meaningful change.
Professional Bio
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship can be an important part of meaningful change. Building trust through compassion, respect, kindness, and non-judgment is at the heart of how I approach counselling.
Born and raised on beautiful Vancouver Island, I have happily called Victoria home for more than 20 years. I completed my Master's in Counselling at the University of Victoria and have worked in both private-practice and non-profit settings since 2016.
My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to meet each person where they are, while creating a supportive space to explore difficult experiences, relationships, emotions, and patterns.
Throughout my professional experience, I have supported adults, teens, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other difficult experiences.
I believe that when people are supported in recognizing their strengths, meaningful change becomes possible. Together, we can build practical coping and communication skills while working toward greater balance and well-being.

Trauma-Informed Support
Sometimes, experiences from the past continue to affect how we feel in the present. Distressing memories, difficult emotions and trauma-related responses can make everyday life feel challenging.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach used to help people process distressing memories and reduce trauma-related distress.
Natasha may incorporate EMDR when clinically appropriate, alongside other trauma-informed approaches tailored to each person's needs, preferences and goals.
There is no pressure to share everything at once. Counselling begins with understanding your experiences and finding an approach that feels manageable for you.
If past experiences continue to affect your emotional well-being, you may be wondering whether EMDR could help.
During an initial consultation, you can ask Natasha about her approach to trauma-informed counselling, how EMDR may fit into treatment and what getting started might look like.
Ask Natasha About EMDRTherapeutic Perspective
I work from a holistic, trauma-informed, biopsychosocial and strengths-based perspective.
I believe that with guidance, change can happen when people recognize their strengths. Together, we can develop coping, communication and conflict-resolution skills, work toward personal goals and move toward greater balance.
